Foreman Civil Engineering Location: Swords We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foreman to join a busy civil engineering contractor on projects based in Swords. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure and utility projects across Ireland, known for its consistent project pipeline and focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring works are carried out safely, on time, and to a high standard Lead site crews, subcontractors, and plant operators across daily operations Ensure all works comply with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) standards Work closely with Site Engineers and Site Management to deliver project programmes Monitor progress and ensure efficient use of labour, plant, and materials Maintain strong communication across the site team and report updates to senior management Identify and resolve on-site issues quickly to avoid delays Ensure all work is carried out in line with drawings and specifications About You: Proven experience as a Foreman within civil engineering projects Background in utilities, groundworks, or general civils is highly desirable Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams on site Good understanding of construction drawings and site operations Committed to maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality Reliable, organised, and proactive in approach This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor that values its workforce and offers long-term work on a range of civil engineering projects.
