We are seeking a Product Owner to drive the ongoing evolution of our software platforms, with a strong focus on product enhancements and close collaboration with engineering teams. This role will partner closely with business function owners to refine and prioritize requirements, maintain and evolve the product backlog, and ensure the delivery of high-quality features. The ideal candidate will emphasize product quality, execution excellence, and continuous improvement to deliver meaningful value to both the business and end users.The product owner role would work with the New York Product Office to contribute and align to these company strategies:Overall product strategy or long-term vision-setting.Ideation of new product lines or major roadmap direction.Competitive market analysis or positioning.Key ResponsibilitiesBacklog & Requirements ManagementTranslate business and user needs into clear, actionable product stories and acceptance criteria .Refine requirements in collaboration with engineering, design, and stakeholders.Prioritize backlog items to ensure optimal use of engineering resources.Review integrity of requirements for consistency with product quality and technical capabilities.Continuously evolve backlog items based on feedback and live performance metrics.Engineering Collaboration & DeliveryPartner closely with engineering leads to plan and execute sprint work .Align backlog priorities with technical dependencies and sprint timeline and release cycle schedules.Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives).Manage production changes and ensure smooth deployments with minimal risk.Feedback & IterationTrack user feedback, issues, and enhancement requests across multiple channels.Translate feedback into measurable product improvements.Monitor live website performance, reporting insights back to the engineering and business teams.Continuous ImprovementDrive incremental product evolution, ensuring features are iterated on post-launch.Support the definition of success metrics for delivered features.Ensure delivery is tightly aligned with quality, scalability, and performance standards.Release Preparation and Product handoverPrepare clear documentation and handover materials tailored for the operational team.Organize demos and walkthroughs to build confidence and understanding of the new features.Communicate release scope, benefits, and potential impact to the operational team in advance. Act as the bridge between product and operations,About YouA degree and a minimum of 4 years' experience gained in a fast paced IT online e-commerce product delivery environment.Previous professional experience as a product Owner engaging with technical teams in the software industry with parallel tech project.Strong knowledge of online and e-commerce product delivery and the technologies, challenges and trends relevant to onlineKnowledge of online gaming/wagering/payments desirableAwareness of software delivery methodologies e.g. Agile / Sprint driven deliveryExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal and comfortable producing tech level documentation, workflows, diagrams, etc.Excellent time-management and delivery managements of projects and recoursesDriven and self-motivatedCollaborative; ability to develop strong relationships within company departments to show great teamwork.Confident, sociable and able to interact directly and autonomously with a wide variety of stakeholders.
