Senior Financial Leader
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT, PAYE and Corporation Tax requirements.
Accounting and Finance Expertise:
- Maintain general ledger integrity, reviewing journal entries, reconciliations and financial adjustments.
- Implement and enforce internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals, ensuring high performance.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Assist in budget preparation, financial planning and cash flow forecasting.
- Provide variance analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
Process Improvement and Systems Management:
- Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting processes, leveraging automation and best practices.
- Oversee the use of accounting systems (Nav Business Central, SAP etc.) and recommend improvements.
