Job Overview
The Away from Home (AFH) Finance Manager and Business Partner is an exciting hybrid role that combines traditional finance responsibilities with proactive business partnering. You will play a critical part in driving the financial performance and strategic decision-making within the Away from Home Channel, supporting the strong growth in this important area of Britvic's business.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager for Britvic Ireland, you will be the Finance Manager for the Aquaporte Business, Business Partner to the Away from Home Channel Controller, and support the operations and governance of Commercial Assets. Your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting (both P&L and Balance Sheet) and analysis to support decision-making
* Driving improvements in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
* Monitoring financial performance and implementing strategies to deliver the in-year plan and optimize profitability
* Developing and implementing accounting practices for new Aquaporte tap sales and leases
* Managing cash flow through the management of Accounts Receivable for the Aquaporte Water Cooler and Taps business
* Collaborating with the Away from Home Channel Controller to provide financial insights and guidance
* Contributing to the development and execution of business cases and long-term business strategies
* Evaluating growth opportunities and providing financial analysis to inform strategic decisions
* Identifying and mitigating financial risks for both Aquaporte and Commercial assets through effective controls and processes
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
* Supporting the audit process
* Mentoring and developing a team of four direct reports
* Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development
* Encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team
* Acting as a trusted advisor to the Away from Home Channel Controller
* Supporting logistics supply chain and operations with data and analysis
* Facilitating cross-functional communication to align financial goals with operational objectives
* Identifying risks and opportunities to deliver the in-year plan and working with relevant teams to ensure these are either mitigated or realized
* Being the finance lead for projects within the Away from Home Channel
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, or equivalent experience
* Financial accounting and business partnering experience
* Preferably relevant FMCG experience
* Highly motivated and results-oriented
* Team player, with the drive and interpersonal skills necessary to develop strong working relationships at all levels
* Strong analytical and interpretive skills, ability to deliver financial data in a user-friendly and relevant manner
* Ability to challenge conventional thinking
* Experience managing a team

* Bachelor's Degree
