Job Overview:
* Key Responsibilities:
o Familiarize yourself with relevant health and safety legislations, particularly in construction settings.
o Identify site hazards, assess risks, communicate health and safety requirements to managers, supervisors, and workers.
o Conduct weekly site inspections, monitor contractors on-site from appointment through to training and ongoing supervision. Assess and review systems for traffic management, lifting operations, working near services or public members.
o Possess comprehensive knowledge of associated hazards and how to control them, as well as construction and general health and safety management systems (ISO 45001:2018).
o Develop risk assessments for all aspects of work requiring constant monitoring, supervision, updating, and implementation.
* Essential Skills and Qualifications:
o Computer literacy, necessary IT skills, high interpersonal and communication skills, and a Level 7 qualification (National Framework of Qualifications) in Occupational Health and Safety as minimum requirement.
o Valid driving license, current Safe Pass Card, no less than three years of satisfactory experience in construction work and knowledge of construction methods, site management, and construction design process.
