Responsibilities
Analyse project plans and specifications to prepare accurate estimates.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather necessary project information.
Conduct thorough research and analysis on costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
Prepare detailed and itemized cost estimates and budgets for various construction projects.
Utilize estimation software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather additional information if needed.
Review and adjust estimates based on client feedback and project changes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience as an Estimation Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost estimation.
Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
