Job Title:
A Support Worker role is available to join a dedicated team in a community-based house providing respite and holiday breaks for adults with physical and/or sensory or mild to moderate Intellectual disabilities, within a quality framework.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
* Possess the National Diploma in Childcare awarded by HETAC/DIT or an equivalent qualification.
* Have a suitable standard of professional attainments.
* Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office).
* Possess a full, clean driving licence.
* Demonstrate experience working in the caring profession.
Additional Requirements:
* Those applying between now and November 2025 with a Schedule 3 qualification must have worked as a Social Care Worker for 2 of the last 5 years and be applying for registration with CORU.
* Those applying with an approved Social Care Worker Qualification must be either registered with CORU or in the process of registering.
