About RoboticsAI Club

RoboticsAI Club offers after-school programs for children in primary schools across Ireland, blending robotics, coding, and storytelling with hands-on exploration. We help children think creatively, solve problems, and build a healthy relationship with technology.

Our focus on emotional intelligence, curiosity, and innovation helps kids not just prepare for the future — but feel inspired to shape it.

We're a small, thoughtful, and passionate team on a mission to make technology education meaningful, accessible, and human.

The Role

We're looking for a highly organised, proactive, and people-focused Mentor Operations Lead to oversee the daily operations of our after-school programs across Dublin and nearby regions.

You'll coordinate schedules, manage logistics, support mentors in the field, and ensure our programs run smoothly, safely, and consistently to a high standard. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, teamwork, problem-solving, and making sure every detail is taken care of.

If you thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy leading people, and love building systems that make things run better — this role is for you.

What You'll Do

Operational Management

* Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operational activities across partner schools and program locations in Dublin and nearby regions.
* Build weekly schedules, assign mentors, and ensure sessions are fully staffed and prepared.
* Allocate resources effectively and ensure operations run in line with company standards and program expectations.
* Monitor operations throughout the week and respond quickly to emerging needs.

Lead & Support the Mentor Team

* Provide clear guidance, structure, and communication for mentors on the ground.
* Track performance, give feedback, and support mentors so they feel confident and equipped.
* Ensure everyone follows company policies, quality frameworks, and safety standards.

Logistics & Equipment Management

* Plan and organise the distribution of robotics kits, teaching materials, VR sets, and other equipment.
* Oversee equipment delivery and pickup, ensuring mentors have all required materials prepared and ready for each class.

Compliance & Safeguarding

* Ensure full compliance with safeguarding requirements, health & safety regulations, and internal operational protocols.
* Oversee Garda Vetting and required clearances for all field staff.
* Support mentors with documentation, school requirements, and site readiness.
* Allocate resources effectively and ensure operations run in line with company standards and program expectations.

Improve Systems & Processes

* Spot operational gaps and develop better ways of doing things.
* Help implement new tools, workflows, and procedures that strengthen our Dublin operations.

Who You Are

* Warm, friendly, and empathetic — you genuinely enjoy helping people and building relationships.
* Calm, adaptable, and organized — you can stay composed and solution-focused when things change.
* Curious about technology and education — comfortable learning about new tools, platforms, and products.
* Strong communicator — excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Reliable and detail-oriented — you take pride in doing things well and following through.
* Comfortable working independently in a remote/hybrid setup.

Your Skills & Experience

* Strong organisational and planning skills — able to build schedules, manage moving parts, and keep operations running smoothly.
* Experience leading or supporting teams (mentors, volunteers, instructors, field teams, or similar).
* Excellent communication skills — clear, confident, and comfortable guiding others.
* Ability to work independently, make decisions, and handle unexpected issues calmly.
* Comfortable with technology and able to learn new tools quickly (robotics kits, tablets, software — full training provided).
* Proficient with Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive, Calendar) and modern communication tools (Slack, etc.).
* Detail-oriented and dependable, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
* Understanding of safeguarding and safety practices (training provided).
* Full driving licence (preferred) for occasional equipment transport.
* Based in Dublin or nearby for onsite needs.

Why Join RAIClub?

* Be part of a mission-driven startup that truly values creativity, empathy and meaningful learning.
* Grow your leadership and operations experience in a supportive, collaborative environment.
* Gain hands-on experience in technology education and real-world problem solving.
* Have a genuine impact on how children engage with technology.
* Flexible working, hybrid structure and a culture that values initiative and trust.

If you're organised, people-driven and excited to support the smooth running of impactful after-school programs — we'd love to hear from you.
