Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Day Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving forward the vision, mission and values of our organization. You will have a key role in supporting individuals to be active citizens in their local community and promoting self-determination and self-direction for each person.
The successful candidate will have a robust knowledge and understanding of New Directions and be able to demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with individuals being supported, their families, other professionals and people important in their life.
You will work on your own initiative as well as being a team player, supporting your colleagues and motivating staff members reporting to you.
* A minimum of three years' experience in Day Service Management
* Relevant recognized qualification - e.g. Nursing Qualification (RNID), Applied Social Studies in Social Care or other relevant qualification (Coru registered or in the process of registration)
* Recognized Management Course
* Full current driving licence
* Experience of supporting individuals with Autism and managing competing priorities within their workload
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Leadership experience and a proven track record of leading, supporting and managing staff teams
* Knowledge and experience of implementing new directions and developing Easi-tools
* Ability to coordinate rosters for multiple day service hubs
* Experience and commitment to developing person-centered and self-directed supports
* Suitability as outlined in the introduction to the role
