Responsibilities of a Cleaning Operative
1. Performing thorough cleaning and sanitising tasks for various facilities, ensuring they meet high-quality standards
2. Wiping down surfaces, dusting, vacuuming, and sweeping to eliminate dirt and dust
3. Properly handling and disposing of waste and recycling materials
4. Cleaning and restocking restrooms to maintain a fresh and hygienic environment
5. Notifying the supervisor of any maintenance or repair needs
Requirements of a Cleaning Operative
6. Previous cleaning experience would be advantageous
7. Own transport preferred – some locations outside the city centre.
8. A strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to completing tasks
9. Ability to work as an individual, and as part of a team
10. Good communication skills
11. Manual handling cert is essential
