Job Overview: As a waste management professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe disposal of integrated waste.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate all aspects of waste movements, including logistics, paperwork, and container/tanker/skip ordering
* Manage the handling and treatment of materials at points of exit to the drum compound, including non-hazardous and hazardous waste
* Supervise the collection and transport of waste materials to interim or final disposal destinations and prepare relevant documentation
* Provide technical support and liaison services between clients and Veolia teams
* Audit collection vehicles and waste management systems to ensure compliance and efficiency
* Manage Total Waste Management compliance requirements
* Order supplies, labels, and packaging as needed
* Classify waste streams for ADR/IMDG in association with clients and Veolia Technical Teams
* Offer technical support to clients and develop continuous improvement initiatives
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Technical knowledge of Total Waste Management principles and practices
* Clear driving license, Safe Pass, and manual handling certification
* Truck driving experience an advantage
