Our client is a global leader in clinical research technology, dedicated to breaking down the silos that impede clinical trials by connecting patients, sites, and sponsors in a unified ecosystem.In this role, the Sr. PO will be at the forefront of industry change, identifying and integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities, such as predictive analytics, workflow automation, and generative AI, to enhance product value and drive operational efficiency within the life sciences sector.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify opportunities to apply AI and machine-learning capabilities to improve product workflows and streamline clinical research processes.Partner with engineering and data science teams to define AI feature requirements and ensure model outputs align with strict regulatory and quality standards.Lead the requirements gathering process with end-users and internal leadership, owning the product backlog based on a deep understanding of AI product strategy.Drive design and refinement meetings, actively owning the development of user stories, personas, and acceptance criteria.Assess the feasibility, risk, and ethical considerations of AI use cases, ensuring total compliance with privacy, security, and clinical research standards.Monitor AI feature performance and user adoption, iterating the product based on feedback and data-driven insights.Serve as the primary bridge between the customer community and the software development life cycle (SDLC) teams.Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for the product area, leading internal trainings and collaborating with documentation teams.Experience & Skills4+ years of experience in software development planning and analysis, specifically within a Product Owner or similar role.A strong understanding of AI concepts, including Generative AI, Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), or predictive analytics.Proven experience working with products that include AI-driven features or data-powered automation.Extensive experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.Exceptional negotiation and consensus-building skills, with an innate curiosity about how users interact with complex systems.A results-oriented professional who is willing to embrace and drive change in a fast-paced innovation environment.Nice to HavePrevious experience in clinical research or healthcare technology.Product Owner professional certification (e.g., CSPO, PSPO).A college degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
