Our primary objective is to work with Irish industrial partners to introduce new technology to them that will improve their competitiveness on a global stage and futureproof employment security in this critical sector for our national economy.What IMR offers:An opportunity to contribute to the national economic growth agendaA competitive salary and pensionA friendly and flexible working environment with State-of-the-art Innovation CentresLots of diversity in terms of people, technology, projects and ideasThe opportunity to join a dynamic and committed teamInteraction with a diverse range of industrial clients and state partners5 weeks holidaysThe Role:Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR) is seeking a Senior Programme Manager for thePEACEPLUS DATUM programme at Senior Technologist level on a 23-month contract.The successful candidate will lead the rollout and execution of the PEACEPLUS DATUM programme with a particular focus on programme management, reporting, demand generation, client engagement and digital solution delivery. The senior programme manager may also support in the delivery of client assessment, feasibility and delivery workshops (ad-hoc).For this new role, we are seeking a professional, who wants to further advance their career as a leading expert in Industrial Digital Transformation in Ireland and internationally over the coming years.Key Responsibilities:Optimising and standardising the programme management and work-flow processes to enable streamlined, paced execution.Leading on project management and document management process improvements, developing and ensuring implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the department.Documenting the demand generation (contracts, scope, schedule, resource planning, budgets) and ensuring accurate representation in IMR's project management dashboard.Coordinating the internal monthly reporting at IMR Ops Forum.Designing and facilitating quarterly and annual planning as well as tracking performance against KPIs (operational and project-based).Developing and systematising the department's (internal and external) impact and technical reporting processes leveraging automation and data visualisation tools where applicable.Tracking lessons learnt and adapt project management insights from completed projects.Mentoring colleagues in project management methodologies, growing project management capabilities within the unit and nurturing a collaborative high-performance environment.Supporting the client delivery of Digital Transformation both nationally and internationally.Engaging with existing clients and support the growth of our client base through networking, visiting client facilities, attendance at conferences, etc.RequiredSkills and Experience:B.Sc. or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, Electronics, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years' experience in portfolio, programme, or project management.Project or Programme Management Qualification (e.g. Prince II, PMI, MS Project, Agile, Waterfall).Strong organisational and proactive approach to support project teams.Ability to empower and inspire others for successful project delivery.Resource allocation and pipeline management expertise.Coordination of internal/external reporting (National & EU funding).Balancing workloads and streamlining processes for KPI tracking.Advanced IT skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; database management).Customer-facing experience in project/programme delivery.Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work cross-functionally across all levels of the organisation.Entrepreneurial, can-do attitude; collaborative yet independent in fast-paced environments.Access to own transport and legal ability to drive unaccompanied in Ireland.Location:IMR offices are located in Rathcoole, Co Dublin and Mullingar, Co Westmeath. This position will be based in either our Rathcoole or Mullingar office. We offer a hybrid working model. Travel between offices and client sites will be required.Salary & Benefits:This position will command a package consisting of basic salary (€86,013 - €94,118 depending on qualifications and experience), employer pension contribution and 5 weeks holidays.Closing Date:All applicants must include an up-to-date version of your CV with their application.
