Procurement Manager - Aircraft Deliveries
As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of aircraft to our customers. You will lead project management efforts, overseeing material and logistics needs for new and transition aircraft streams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead project management of new aircraft Buyer-Furnished Equipment (BFE) milestones, ensuring all on-dock dates are met to support on-time aircraft delivery.
* Represent procurement in key meetings, such as Initial Technical Coordination Meetings (ITCMs) and First Article Inspections (FAIs), ensuring alignment with project goals.
* Oversee strategic vendor and manufacturer relationships to ensure timely equipment availability and alignment with aircraft delivery schedules.
* Provide leadership in sourcing and budgeting for cabin upgrades and reconfigurations, ensuring alignment with financial and operational goals.
* Represent the organisation at industry conferences and milestone meetings, with flexibility to travel frequently, including at short notice.
* Drive negotiations and evaluate pricing for critical equipment, including seats, galleys, and in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.
* Oversee comprehensive budget management and finalise aircraft accounting, ensuring financial accountability and project success.
* Develop and implement General Terms Agreements (GTAs) with suppliers, aligning procurement strategies to meet delivery schedules and budget objectives.
* Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a high-performing procurement team.

Requirements:
* Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
* Proficient in IT, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with procurement software is advantageous.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement processes within the aircraft leasing, airline, or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sectors.
* Comprehensive understanding of new aircraft Buyer-Furnished Equipment (BFE) milestones and procurement workflows.
* Demonstrated success in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, consistently meeting deadlines and achieving targeted results.
* In-depth knowledge of General Terms Agreements (GTAs) and a proven ability to enforce supplier deliverables effectively.
* Strong and independent-minded, with the ability to express your views with conviction, showing bravery in confronting established thought.
* Ability to distil complex messages into key takeaways to support management decision-making, summarising findings with impact, putting forward compelling arguments and rationales to all levels and audiences.
* Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, capable of developing and maintaining positive business relationships to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide.
