Job Description
This position is for Fermoy, Co Cork and surrounding counties.
We are hiring for a great opportunity within our Retinal Technicians team for Fermoy, Co. Cork, and the surrounding counties. The role involves Eye Photography, used to identify damage to the retina caused by complications of Diabetes. Experience is not essential, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to enter healthcare or someone already in the healthcare space wanting to develop their skills. Our professional team will support you every step of the way to becoming a specialist in this field.
Our Team
You will be part of the national programme, working alongside our Senior Diabetic Retinal Technicians, Team Leader, and other seniors, supported by the administration team, programme manager, and clinical lead. Our team members are or are becoming subject matter experts in Retinopathy, so you will always have the support you need.

We strive to offer outstanding economic value while maintaining the highest technical and professional standards. The role involves travelling to and from health centres and clinics using a company vehicle.
Qualifications
We want to ensure your success with these key skills:
* Experience is not required
* Full clean Irish Driving License and a safe place to house the company vehicle is essential
* A passion for customer care and positive patient outcomes
* IT literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office
* Initiative, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
* A strong work ethic and proactive approach, as you will be largely unsupervised after training
* Excellent communication skills at all levels

* Candidates must demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the EU; documentary evidence will be required.
* A full, clean Irish driving licence is essential.
* Offers are subject to vetting and reference checks. Garda Vetting may also be required depending on the role.
