Job Overview:
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced site operations professional to lead the day-to-day activities of a retail forecourt. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing multiple sites, with experience in supervising staff, maintaining high levels of customer service and driving sales growth.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain efficient store operations, ensuring a smooth and effective working environment.
* Oversee personnel management, including recruitment, training, and development initiatives.
* Develop and implement rosters that meet business needs while maintaining quality service levels.
* Drive operational excellence to maximize store performance.
* Analyse financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety standards for both staff and customers.
* Implement and maintain site-specific health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
* Proven track record in leading teams and achieving targets in a fast-paced retail environment.
* Operational knowledge of the retail sector, preferably with experience in large forecourt or convenience retail.
* Strong commercial acumen with market awareness.
* Knowledge of Labour Law, Health & Safety regulations, HACCP, and Consumer Law.
