Motor Sales Representative
Develop in-depth knowledge of vehicles, accessories, pricing, and competitor offerings. Utilize effective sales techniques to maximize profit while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sell new and used vehicles using a structured sales process
* Manage the preparation and handover of vehicles, providing comprehensive briefings on car features and controls
* Maintain product knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, pricing, and competitor offerings
* Accurately record sales activities, vehicle documentation, and related information
* Participate in sales campaigns and promotions to drive business growth
* Deliver exceptional customer service with strong communication skills and professional presentation
* Appraise vehicles offered for part exchange accurately
* Act with honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all dealings
* Prospect for new and used car customers regularly to create sales opportunities
* Introduce customers to Aftersales staff, ensuring they are aware of facilities and procedures
Maintain regular contact with customers to build lasting relationships and encourage repeat business.
Candidate Requirements:
* QFA, APA, or grandfathered qualification is advantageous but not essential
* Previous experience in the motor industry, ideally within a premium franchised brand, is an advantage
* Full clean driving license
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail
* Competent IT skills
