Cyber Threat Simulation Professional
A major organisation is seeking a proactive security specialist to enhance its defensive capabilities through hands-on technical assessments and adversary emulation.
This is a role that bridges both offensive and defensive security disciplines - ideal for someone passionate about understanding attacker behaviours and helping teams build stronger defences.
The successful candidate will design and execute realistic attack simulations to identify potential weaknesses in monitoring, tooling, and process maturity. They will collaborate with detection and incident response teams to test and refine monitoring capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, detection engineering, or red teaming. They will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute controlled attack simulations based on real-world threat intelligence.
* Map test activities to frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to measure detection coverage.
* Automate simulation workflows using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
* Produce post-simulation reports outlining findings, coverage gaps, and recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong understanding of SIEM, EDR, and network monitoring environments.
* Scripting and automation experience essential.
