Marlfield House, located just outside Gorey on the Courtown Road, has two restaurants: The Duck and The Conservatory. The Duck, opened in 2015, is a casual dining restaurant that has received numerous awards for its food, service, and atmosphere, and is included in The Michelin Guide. It offers a unique dining experience in a casual setting within a warm and friendly working environment among a strong team of professionals. The Conservatory provides a more formal dining experience and has also won numerous awards over the years.
Marlfield House is currently looking for a Chef de Partie to start as soon as possible.
The successful candidates must:
* Have experience in an award-winning restaurant using local or home-grown produce.
* Be competent at looking after a section.
* Stay up to date on food trends, have an appreciation of seasonality, love simplicity, and have a passion for the kitchen garden. Be a team player.
* Have the ability to be part of a team.
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Have full knowledge of adhering to HACCP standards.
* Have a keen eye for detail.
* Must love food, be imaginative, and up to date with food trends.
* Have a passion for ingredients and appreciate and use the kitchen garden.
