Plant Operations Specialist Role
A skilled professional is required to ensure the optimal functioning of plant, equipment, and services in a manufacturing environment.
This role involves diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair faults in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
* Ensure efficient completion of maintenance tasks
* Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers for specialist repairs
* Assist with equipment installation and relocation
* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety regulations
* Document records accurately and maintain safe working procedures
* Support and train team members as needed
* Liaise with external contractors and issue permits to work
Requirements:
* Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience in manufacturing maintenance
* Experience working with CNC Turning & Milling Multi-Axis Machines
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* Effective communication and organisational skills
* Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
Work Pattern
This position operates on a Continental days pattern, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-8pm, with a two-week cycle of alternating days.
