The Opportunity: Technical Sales Rep
As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a motivated and experiencedTechnical Sales Repto take ownership of all sales coordination for Shannon Precision Engineering Limited.This is acareer-defining opportunityfor a driven individual who wants to play a central role in shaping SPE’s commercial success and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
· Act as the primary internal sales liaison, coordinating between customers, subcontractors, and SPE’s technical and production teams.
· Coordinate sales projects involving customers, subcontractors, and other companies within the group.
· Prepare and manage quotations on behalf of SPE, while consulting with our internal technical staff for input and guidance. consolidating input from other companies when required
· Liaise with customers to understand and define technical project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
· Ensure customer expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle, supporting a seamless customer experience.
· Provide regular project status updates to all stakeholders, acting as the main communication channel for sales-related activities.
· Represent SPE in customer meetings, audits, and technical calls, ensuring consistent professional engagement
· Maintain a strong technical understanding of Shannon Precision Engineering’s and the group's products, services, and capabilities.
· Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Shannon Precision Engineering’s strategic goals.
· Represent Shannon Precision Engineering at international trade shows and industry events to promote capabilities and build new customer relationships.
Requirements
· Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical sales, engineering, or manufacturing-related role or equivalent work experience.
· Experience across a broad range of industries including, Aerospace, Industrial, Automotive markets and project coordination within Precision Machining Contract Manufacturing
· Strong presentation and negotiation skills with experience in technical discussions.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, CNC machining, and quality standards in regulated industries.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
· A team player with a proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
