Job Title: Front Office Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet guests warmly and allocate rooms efficiently.
* Ensure all reception floats are accurate.
* Adhere to the company's Code of Conduct and maintain a high level of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
* Comply with company regulations regarding fire, health, safety, customer care, and security.
* Communicate with colleagues and guests professionally and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
* Administer reservations, cancellations, and no-shows according to company policy.
* Conduct regular security checks and report any issues to management.
Job Description:
The Front Office Assistant plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service. This includes receiving and registering guests on arrival, checking and ensuring the correctness of all reception floats, and keeping work areas clean, safe, and tidy at all times.
Additionally, the Front Office Assistant ensures all documentation relating to guest registration and checkout is completed according to standard procedures.
They also communicate effectively with colleagues and guests, maximise in-house sales opportunities, handle cash transactions securely, and balance telephone, lounge, restaurant, bar, and reception cash at the end of each shift.
