Role Overview

This role sits at the intersection of recruitment, onboarding, people operations and process improvement. It requires someone who can both execute day to day activity with consistency and quality and also contribute to the development of scalable, compliant and employee centred HR practices.
The HR Recruitment Lead will play a key role in helping LED Group attract, develop and retain talent. This will be achieved through strong ownership of recruitment delivery, onboarding coordination, documentation management and policy development carried out with a clear focus on compliance, consistency and continuous improvement.
Role Summary
* Lead collaborative engagement with the recruitment function and wider HR leadership to shape and implement effective HR processes and recruitment strategies.
* Lead the delivery of end to end recruitment activity across multiple business functions, ensuring a high quality and consistent experience for candidates and hiring managers.
* Hold accountability for the daily operations of recruitment, including pipeline development, process delivery and proactive stakeholder coordination.
* Define, track and report on recruitment and onboarding metrics to support insight led decision making and continuous improvement.
* Own and manage onboarding and induction processes from offer acceptance through early tenure, ensuring alignment, structure and delivery excellence across all business functions.
* Coordinate the maintenance and accuracy of employee documentation across systems, ensuring compliance with data, audit and employment obligations.
* Oversee the development, implementation and communication of local HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and consistent application across the business.
* Act as a key liaison between managers and external providers to ensure people operations activity is executed effectively and in line with organisational standards.
* Support a culture of consistency, accountability and governance across people processes, with particular focus on documentation, compliance assurance and service readiness.
* Contribute to the improvement of induction, appraisal, handover and training practices and support early career and graduate hiring initiatives as they evolve.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment
* Lead full-cycle recruitment across a range of business areas, from role definition to offer stage
* Partner with hiring managers to define needs and design appropriate sourcing strategies
* Build and maintain active pipelines using direct sourcing, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals and other channels
* Deliver a professional, engaging and consistent candidate experience throughout all stages of recruitment
* Monitor recruitment activity, generate regular reports and provide data-driven insights to inform hiring decisions
Onboarding and People Operations
* Assume ownership of onboarding and induction, ensuring timely coordination of contracts, documentation, systems access and team involvement
* Act as the central point of coordination for onboarding execution across departments
* Maintain accurate, secure and up-to-date employee records across platforms
* Facilitate effective communication between managers, systems and external providers to support smooth onboarding and people processes
Documentation, Compliance and Policy
* Coordinate and maintain employee documentation across the lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, structure and compliance with organisational and legal standards
* Support the organisation in meeting statutory and regulatory requirements through documentation discipline, audit readiness and aligned reporting
* Monitor updates in employment legislation and advise on implications for policies and people processes
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all people documentation, policies and communications reflect best practice, compliance and clarity
People Process Consistency and Capability Development
* Promote consistent adoption of agreed recruitment, onboarding and people processes across the LED Group.
* Serve as a point of contact for managers seeking guidance on people process queries
* Support appraisal processes by coordinating timelines, documentation and good practice
* Identify and implement improvements in induction, training and internal handover processes
* Deliver and/or coordinate training sessions for managers on recruitment and people operations practices as required
* Contribute to the development and delivery of early career and graduate recruitment programmes
* Use data and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
* Native-level proficiency in both written and spoken English
* Passed Leaving Certificate or equivalent second level qualification
* Minimum 2+ years of HR related experience in recruitment and people operations
* Excellent, fast and accurate typing skills
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
* Familiarity with HR platforms such as HR Duo or similar systems
Desirable
* Relevant third level qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related field
* Professional qualification or membership such as the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
EXPERIENCE
Essential
* Proven experience delivering full-cycle recruitment across multiple functions and levels
* Demonstrated ability to recruit efficiently at pace in high volume or fast paced environments
* Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Experience supporting onboarding, people operations and documentation processes
* Exposure to employment contracts, HR documentation standards and compliance frameworks
Desirable
* Experience within a fast paced, commercial or international business environment with multiple stakeholders and evolving priorities
* Familiarity with scaling people processes in fast growing or scaling environments
* Experience contributing to audit preparation, compliance reviews or process governance
