About the Role
We're looking for a driven, ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team.
This is a proactive, outbound-focused BDR role. You'll be responsible for building your own pipeline, identifying new opportunities, conducting outreach, and booking and running your own 1:1 product demos with prospective customers.
This is an ideal role for someone who loves the hunt, thrives on ownership, and wants to play a pivotal role in CPDStore's growth. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging, improve lead quality, and accelerate the adoption of CPDStore across the accounting and bookkeeping industry.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Proactively call, email, and follow up with Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to book them onto online demos and generate opportunities
* Warm-lead outreach only – no cold calling
* Present and run your own online product demos with qualified prospects
* Tailor demos to each prospect's needs and manage follow-up conversations
* Qualify opportunities and build a strong, well-managed pipeline aligned to sales monthly targets
* Use CRM and sales engagement tools to manage outreach, log activity, and track performance
* Educate prospects on the benefits of CPDStore and generate excitement around upcoming demo sessions
* Hit and exceed monthly sales targets with a focus on converting sales.
* Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to refine messaging and improve conversion
The Person
This role would suit an individual with an excellent work ethic who is looking to develop a successful career in sales. The ideal candidate will have:
* Minimum of 1 year working in a similar or outbound sales role.
* Demonstrable record of achieving targets
* A self-starter mindset – comfortable managing your own workload, targets, and pipeline
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Excellent phone and presentation skills
* Target driven with a desire to exceed expectations
* A third level qualification, ideally in Sales or Business would be an advantage (but not essential)
