Job Title:
Financial Services Specialist
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Financial Services Specialist. The role involves providing financial support and technical advice to schools, working remotely with the ability to travel when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide financial guidance and technical assistance to schools on financial controls, procedures, cash flow, and budget preparation.
2. Support and train staff in-house excel-based package, Sage 50, and Bright packages.
3. Develop standard operating procedures and supporting materials.
4. Offer online and remote access support and training to individuals and groups.
Requirements:
* Fully qualified Accounting Technician or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills, including data collation.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* A high level of knowledge of RCT and VAT procedures relevant to a school environment.
* Ability to work remotely within a team environment and be self-motivated.
* Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
* Familiarity with various accounting software packages, particularly Sage 50 and Bright Accounts.
Benefits:
We offer a permanent role with a probationary period of 6 months, normal working hours of 9am to 5pm, and occasional flexibility to work between 11am to 7pm. You will also have access to a PRSA that you can contribute to. We are an equal opportunities employer.
