A leading Irish energy provider is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities on a major energy infrastructure project. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in the safe and efficient delivery of a landmark development within Ireland's evolving energy landscape.
Role Overview
The Commissioning Manager will oversee all aspects of site commissioning, ensuring full compliance with HSEQ procedures and coordination across multiple technical interfaces. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex relationships between engineering, construction, and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all commissioning activities on site in line with safety and quality standards.
Coordinate between the reciprocating engine generator supplier, EPC contractor, and grid operator.
Develop and implement hot commissioning and grid synchronisation plans.
Oversee isolations, safe systems of work, and detailed risk assessment processes.
Maintain clear documentation and ensure a logical flow of information across all project stakeholders.
Key Requirements
Minimum 15 years' experience in commissioning or similar roles within the energy or industrial sector.
Strong electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation background.
Proven experience with reciprocating engine generators.
Highly methodical approach with a strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
