Join the future of paediatric care at Children’s Health Ireland (CHI). We invite applications for the Clinical Nurse Education Facilitator (CNEF) CNM2 role.
This post holder will work in partnership between CHI and UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems to support the clinical coordination of the program nationally, aligning with national strategic goals to improve patient/service user experience outcomes. The role supports care closer to home by training children’s emergency nurses and nurses who care for children and families across all paediatric emergency settings nationally, offering a standard of care and practice, promoting retention and service improvement, and quality and patient experience outcome measures. They will play a key role in supporting the education, research and professional development of students undertaking the Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Nursing course.

Essential Requirements
RCN/RGN with minimum 5 years relevant paediatric experience.
Minimum 3 years within an emergency department setting.
Higher Diploma/Post Graduate Diploma in emergency nursing (children).
Teaching and assessing experience.
