Kildare Sports Partnership Sports Hub Coordinator
* Develop partnership and coordination between relevant local statutory and voluntary bodies, maximizing their involvement in water sports and land-based sports activities in the county.
* Support existing clubs in their development plans through governance, club structure, and programs.
* Think strategically about the development of water-based clubs and facilities in the area.
* Deliver water sport programs and land-based activities to key target communities as identified by Kildare Sports Partnership, including schools, youth groups, clubs, and organizations.
* Increase participation opportunities in water sports and land-based activities.
* Promote the Community Sports Hub as a venue for sustainable physical activity.
Each candidate must, by the latest date for receipt of completed application forms:
* Hold a relevant third-level Degree in Sports Development, Leisure Management, Health & Fitness, Leisure Studies, or equivalent (desirable).
* Have an understanding of the community and voluntary sector, sports, and recreation environment, and of motivating sectors with lower participation rates to become involved.
* Have experience working in a team.
* Possess the ability to consult, communicate, and network effectively with all community sectors.
* Be capable of monitoring and evaluating work and writing reports.
* Have strong administrative and organizational skills.
* Be able to coordinate and facilitate events.
* Think strategically about the development of clubs and facilities.
* Deliver a range of water-based and land-based programs and activities.
* Produce and access information efficiently and accurately.
* Exhibit excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
* Be able to advise, inform, motivate, and support individuals and organizations.
* Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets.
* Produce quality publicity materials.
* Manage social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram.
Applicants should, at the date of applying, hold a full valid Irish/EU driving license for Class B vehicles or a license acceptable to NDLS for transfer to a full Irish license.
