About the Role
* We are looking for a skilled software engineer who can lead the design and development of scalable, secure analytics infrastructure aligned with our platform vision.
* You will build and optimize production-grade frameworks and features using Hadoop, Spark, and Iceberg.
* Contribute to open-source projects that advance both eBay's data community.
The Ideal Candidate
1. >>7 years of experience in software engineering with proven expertise in Java and distributed systems design.
2. >Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem technologies such as Spark/Iceberg/ Yuni Korn. Strong understanding of CS fundamentals/performance/tuning/concurrency. Linux environment working/excellent networking/troubleshooting skills collaborative mindset/excel communication/analytics abilities.
