Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Lead for a Construction Project in the Biotech/Life Science sector to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with complex construction projects in the dynamic biotech and life science industry.Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies for biotech/life science construction projectsConduct thorough risk assessments and analyses to identify potential issues and opportunitiesCreate and maintain risk registers, ensuring regular updates and communication with project stakeholdersCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop risk mitigation plansMonitor and report on risk status, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholdersEnsure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards in the biotech/life science sectorDevelop and implement risk management training programmes for project team membersContribute to the continuous improvement of risk management processes and methodologiesManage budgets and resources related to risk management activitiesLiaise with external partners, contractors, and regulatory bodies as needed
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in risk management for construction projects, with a focus on the biotech/life science sectorProfessional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or recognised risk management qualificationsExtensive knowledge of risk assessment and management techniquesStrong understanding of construction industry processes and biotech/life science regulationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detailProficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to present complex information clearlyDemonstrated experience in stakeholder management and communicationSolid understanding of budgeting and cost control in construction projectsFamiliarity with relevant software tools for risk management and project planningStrong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive decision-makingExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English
