Senior Design EngineerLocation: IrelandIndustry: Industrial & Commercia | Data CentresThis is a senior leadership position, responsible for overseeing the design, tendering, and delivery of flue systems for large-scale industrial and commercial projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our manufacturing and site-based teams to ensure the successful execution of high-profile projects across Ireland and Europe.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the mechanical design function for flue systems on industrial and commercial projects.Manage and coordinate design activities between in-house, manufacturing, and site-based teams.Oversee the preparation of tender documentation, technical submissions, and project designs.Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards.Provide technical leadership to multi-disciplinary teams across design and delivery stages.Support the Managing Director in strategic project planning and execution.Promote best practice in engineering standards, project management, and quality assurance.Candidate ProfileDegree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent discipline).Minimum of 3–5 years' post-graduate engineering experience, ideally within industrial or commercial construction.Strong background in steelwork fabrication and site-based project delivery .Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), Revit, Navisworks, and related IT tools.Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.In-depth knowledge of contracting environments, construction processes, and H&S legislation .Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.What We OfferA senior leadership role with significant responsibility and visibility within the organisation.The opportunity to contribute to high-profile data centre and industrial projects across Europe.Competitive remuneration package, including performance-related bonus potential.Career progression within a growing and ambitious organisation .Application:Interested candidates are invited to submit a detailed CV and cover letter outlining their suitability for the role.
