Leitrim Job Type: Full-Time Contract, 6 month contract to begin with Salary: Based on Experience and HSE Pay Scales Excel Healthcare is currently recruiting a Staff Grade Clinical Psychologist for a Children's Disability Network Team based in Carrick-on-Shannon, serving children and families across Leitrim and surrounding areas.

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will: Join a welcoming, child-centred team with a strong focus on family involvement.
Be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team Have regular supervision, CPD support, and peer learning.
Contribute to early intervention and life-changing outcomes for children aged 0-18 with a range of developmental needs.
Live and work in the beautiful, relaxed surroundings of Carrick-on-Shannon.
Carry out comprehensive psychological assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
Deliver evidence-based therapies for children with neurodevelopmental conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and sensory or emotional needs.
Contribute to Individual Family Support Plans (IFSPs) and provide guidance to families.
Offer psychoeducation, counselling, and care planning to empower caregivers.
Take part in MDT case discussions, joint sessions, and service development initiatives.
Maintain high-quality documentation in line with professional standards.
Eligibility Criteria: Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychology and/or Chartered Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist through PSI.
Candidates qualified overseas must provide evidence of validation by the Department of Health at the time of application.
Eligibility for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland.
Experience working with children and young people with complex needs.
Strong skills in psychological assessment, intervention planning, and family support.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
A full driver's license and access to a car is preferred, but not essential What to expect: Competitive HSE salary in line with Psychologists experience.
