At Robinson we specialise in the production of HGV trailers, cranes, tippers and bodies. We are located at Portnahinch, Portarlington R32CD40, in a beautiful location free from traffic and urban pressures.
Position
Welder / Fabricator €18.00 an Hour (depending on experience). The role will involve the fabrication, welding of chassis and sub-assemblies.
Responsibilities
* Work safely.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Set‑up, operate and maintain and take ownership of the role.
* Mostly repetitive projects and builds.
* Use of overhead crane, forklift, all hand tools, air tools, electric tools, hand torches.
* Ability to problem‑solve, be observant to CAD assembly drawings with minimal supervision.
* Ability to work on own initiative and work as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Must be able to speak, read, and have a working knowledge of the English language.
* Self‑motivated.
* Manual handling certificate desirable as some heavy lifting will be required.
* Good rates and conditions will be negotiated with the correct candidate.
* Must have a valid work permit to be considered.
