Job Title: Sales/Business Development Executive

Reports to: Business Development Manager
Location: West of Ireland
SUMMARY
Reporting to the Business Development Manager the Sales/ Business Development Executive is responsible for ensuring the achievement of the business plan for specific allocated customers within agreed budgets, in order to deliver enhanced business performance.
This is a remote role based in the West of Ireland, with 60-70% of your time spent on the road meeting clients.
This is predominantly a new business sales role, with some account management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Implement the business plan for the appropriate territory, linked to corporate sales strategies and convert this into profitable business performance
* Convert the strategic and tactical business plans for the segment into a practical implementation plan that will provide profitable business performance for the nominated accounts
* Utilise all sources of customer information, especially Customer Relationship Management (CRM), in order to effectively sell the value and service proposition to the customer base
* Provide account management for the nominated accounts, which will include the implementation of the development plan
* Identify non-segment accounts with the growth potential to become major (segment) accounts and provide colleagues in the branch network with the support to ensure that this happens
* Reviewing customer and Interested Parties requirements, to ensure that they are met
* Liaising with customers and suppliers
* Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the Integrated Management System contributes to these
* Responding to and dealing with customer communication and interested Parties by email and telephone
* Motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
* A minimum of a degree in a related topic
* 2 years Working in a fast-paced Manufacturing / Service industry
* Experience of working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint is essential
