Securitas Security Services are currently recruiting a Crisis Management Specialist to be based in Dublin.
This is a Hybrid role.
(Minimum 3 days per week in the office)
The Crisis Management Specialist (CMS) oversees the governance and global implementation of the Crisis Management Team (CMT) program, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities include developing policies, engaging stakeholders, collaborating with the Enterprise CMT, and delivering preparedness training.
The CMS also ensures a rapid, coordinated response to crises in their region by working with threat analysts, activating the Incident Management Team (IMT), facilitating operations, and managing post-crisis activities such as After-Action Reviews (AAR) and training.
The role is key to maintaining organizational resilience and business continuity during crises.
Key Responsibilities: Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain regular communication with threat intelligence teams to stay updated on potential risks.
Use intelligence reports to prepare for and manage crisis events.
Liaise with emergency response teams (operational security) and ensure the processes are aligned.
Works closely with Linked In vendors, looking to utilize the existing services to bring maximum performance to the immediate and wider teams.
Responding to Alerts: Monitor and assess alerts in real-time as reported by the threat analysts.
Trigger appropriate actions based on the nature and severity of the alert.
Serve as the first point of contact during emergencies, ensuring swift escalation of issues Activating the Incident Management Team (IMT) Initiate the IMT when a crisis is identified.
Ensure key stakeholders are notified and the team is assembled promptly.
Maintain readiness protocols to ensure the IMT can be activated at any time.
Facilitating IMT Operations: Oversee and manage the operations of the IMT during an incident.
Ensure effective communication, decision-making, and resource allocation.
Provide logistical support to the IMT to keep the response process efficient.
Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all crisis incidents, including timelines, decisions, and actions taken.
Support After Action Review process by collecting the feedback from stakeholders and compiling the findings into reports to improve future crisis management strategies.
Provide input into communication sent by GSOC on behalf of Global Security (Travel advisories, Incident advisories etc.) Training & Networking Industry: Coordinates and supports internal and external training sessions for the Crisis Management Team (CMT) at Linked In.
Holds regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including threat analysts, Protective and Strategic Intel (SI/PI), Emergency Response Teams (ERT) and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC).
Participates in training and engagement activities provided by the Risk Intelligence Center (RIC) at Securitas.
Attends external industry events, both online and in person, to stay current on best practices and trends.
Collaborates with counterparts in similar roles across the industry to share insights and improve crisis management strategies.
Skills and Qualifications: Experience in crisis management, emergency response, or related fields.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions in real-time.
Familiarity with risk assessment and threat analysis Proficient in document management systems and reporting tools.
Minimum Hiring Standards: Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
