Kids Inc has over 25 years of experience in childcare, operating in multiple locations across Ireland with a “No Screen Time” policy. We provide early years, preschools, after‑school care, breakfast and sports programmes across the country.
The Role
* Managing the daily operations of after‑school programmes across several sites.
* Supporting and guiding a team of managers and staff.
* Creating fun, creative and educational activities for children.
* Ensuring all safety and safeguarding guidelines are followed.
* Building positive relationships with parents, school staff and the local community.
* Visiting locations regularly to assess standards.
* Assisting with staff recruitment and training strategy.
* Managing budgets, resources and other operational matters.
* Addressing concerns from parents or staff promptly.
* Overall responsibility for 5‑8 after‑school centres.

Your Profile – Essential Skills & Experience
* Previous leadership or management experience in childcare or after‑school programmes.
* Minimum Level 6 childcare qualification or equivalent.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A genuine passion for working with children and commitment to a nurturing environment.
* Fluent English speaker with a friendly, approachable leadership style.
* Proactive problem‑solver capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
* Good understanding of safeguarding practices and child welfare.
* Required Garda vetting and reference checks for child safety.
Desirable Qualification
* Full clean and valid driver’s licence.
* Confidence in speaking the Irish language.

All successful candidates will need to go through a Garda vetting check and provide a valid police certificate (applicable to employees who have lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months since over the age of 18).
