Due to continued investment in our digital transformation programme, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Dynamics 365 Project Operations Engineer. This is a fully hands‑on role focused on designing and building high‑quality solutions across D365 Project Operations, Finance, HR and Dataverse, integrating data from multiple third‑party platforms and helping shape the foundations of our Workforce Platform. You will work closely with our Power Platform Technical Lead, functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver production‑ready capabilities that support our operations across Ireland, the UK and Europe.Who We AreMTM Engineering is a market‑leading specialist electrical contractor delivering medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) cable installation, termination services, busbar and containment solutions for major construction projects. As we scale, our Workforce Platform is a core strategic initiative to unify HR, Time & Attendance, payroll inputs, HSEQ and project labour management into a single integrated system.ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure and build solutions within Dynamics 365 Project Operations, ensuring data models, processes and custom logic align with programme architecture and business needs.Work directly with functional leads and business stakeholders to gather, validate and translate requirements across Project Operations, HR and related Dataverse modules into clear, scalable technical solutions.Design and implement robust, bi‑directional integrations between D365/Dataverse and a wide range of SaaS and on‑premise systems, working directly with APIs, handling varied data structures and ensuring consistent, reliable data flows.Support iterative delivery across the full SDLC, contributing to sprint planning, solution design, UAT, go‑live and hypercare.Create clear, reliable documentation including solution design records, ERDs, configuration notes, test cases and operational guides.Contribute to reusable components, integration patterns and best practices as part of the Power Platform Centre of Excellence.Stay current with D365 release cycles and proactively identify improvements that support MTM’s long‑term platform strategy.Requirements5+ years of designing and building solutions across D365 Finance & Operations, Dataverse and Power Platform, including custom development in C#, Typescript, React and related technologies.Strong hands‑on experience delivering D365 solutions through full project lifecycles.Experience integrating with third‑party SaaS platforms using Dataverse APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIM, REST endpoints and other middleware.Solid understanding of D365 security models, data architecture and environment lifecycle management.Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear business language and vice versa.Comfortable working autonomously, managing priorities and delivering high‑quality outcomes in a fast‑moving environment.Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.Excellent attention to detail with a structured, analytical approach to problem solvingMTM Engineering is an equal opportunities employer.
