Account Executive
to join a dynamic and collaborative commercial insurance team. Working closely with an experienced
Account Director
, you will manage and develop an established portfolio of
corporate and commercial clients
, delivering outstanding service while identifying opportunities to grow the book.
This role offers exposure to complex commercial accounts, strong internal support, and the chance to progress your career within a high-performing team.
The position can be based in
Sandyford or Santry
.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
* Manage client insurance requirements across renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims, in line with agreed service standards and procedures
* Support Account Director(s) in the day-to-day servicing and development of corporate accounts
* Proactively identify and deliver upsell and cross-sell opportunities
* Ensure all agreed internal processes and controls are followed
* Manage premium collection and aged debt effectively
* Comply with internal audit and governance requirements
Customer Relationship Management
* Build strong, trusted relationships with clients by anticipating needs and delivering on commitments
* Act as a key point of contact for client queries, quotations, and service issues, resolving matters efficiently and professionally
Customer Service Excellence
* Consistently represent a professional and client-focused image
* Take ownership for accuracy, quality, and attention to detail in all work
* Respond promptly and professionally to requests from clients, colleagues, and management
Team Collaboration
* Work closely with Account Directors and wider team members to ensure seamless client delivery
* Contribute positively to a team environment focused on shared goals and targets
* Support the team in achieving monthly and annual performance objectives
Compliance & Governance
* Work with the Team Manager and Compliance function to ensure client files meet regulatory and internal quality standards
Requirements
* Minimum
CIP qualification
* Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Positive, proactive "can-do" attitude with the ability to adapt to change
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
* Solid technical and product knowledge within commercial insurance

* Previous experience using

* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Confident, friendly, and professional telephone manner
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and clients
* Keen to learn, develop, and progress professionally
