POSITION: SIG Workplace Account / Business Development Manager

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
We are looking to recruit an Account / Business Development Manager.
The main purpose of this role is to support and ensure continuous sales growth and development for our Furniture and Partitions business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate must have a positive attitude to sales and customer service and the ability to work in a pressurised environment.
The role will require the candidate to:
The ideal candidate will have strong Network relationships with Architects and Designers.
Leverage these relationships to establish opportunities for SIG Workplace to sell our Furniture and Partition portfolios into mainly commercial office fit outs.
Managing the day-to-day activities of Key Accounts.
Liaising with the Design and Pricing teams for full support.
Provide technical and specification support to customers.
Ability to become a product expert in our offering.
Follow up on sales leads with site/client visits as required.
Positive and proactive approach to managing client relationships with commitment to customer service.
Other duties as assigned by the Managing Director.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar role.
A proven track record in a client focused project-based business is essential.
Experience in supporting a target-driven environment is essential.
Experience working in the construction industry with Main Contractor interaction experience.
Excellent IT Skills including Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent numerate skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to read architectural drawings/specifications is essential.
Proficient in CAD/Revit/PCon will be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, ambitious and a strong team player.

Technical and financial accuracy of quotation – margin continuously maintained and protected.
Customer retention and feedback.
Team oriented approach to all aspects of business.
