Connexus is excited to announce its collaboration with a dynamic and innovative player in the Irish Food and Beverage sector dedicated to delivering exceptional products and experiences to their customers. They are seeking a driven and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead their Off-Trade channels in the Munster region.
Role Overview
As the Regional Sales Manager for Off-Trade channels in Munster, you'll lead, coach, and manage a high-performing field sales team. Your focus will be on achieving Brand, Distribution, and Visibility KPIs across diverse channels including Grocery Retail, Convenience, Forecourt, and Off-Licence. Travel is integral to maximizing coaching impact, requiring flexibility for occasional time away from home.
Key Responsibilities
· Team Management and Leadership: Demonstrate strong management, coaching, and leadership skills. Set high expectations, organize business priorities effectively, and ensure brand standards at the point of purchase.
· Motivation and Development: Foster motivation by developing core competencies in Category Knowledge, Customer Insight, and Selling Skills. Maintain customer focus through best-in-class relationship management.
· Efficient Customer Call File Management: Optimize Customer Call File efficiency across the region to maximize capacity utilization.
· Business Partnership Development: Cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships with key retail customers and groups.
· Store Audits and Performance Measurement: Ensure accurate store audits to measure performance and capability. Identify growth opportunities and set personal development goals.
· Human Resource Management: Assist in recruiting, training, coaching, and managing underperformance to achieve regional human resource objectives.
· In-Trade Time Management: Dedicate a minimum of 70% of your time in-trade, leading, managing, and coaching. Allocate a maximum of 30% for team administration and meetings.
· Data-Driven Territory Development: Utilize data and insights for effective territory development.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
· Understanding of the FMCG Industry is preferable.
· High level of commercial awareness or experience in sales management.
· Proven experience in team management and leadership.
· Strong initiative and ability to work autonomously.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
