Job Objectives
We're looking for a talented and strategic Learning and Development Lead.
In this role, you'll develop and implement impactful training programs, design innovative learning solutions, and ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
You'll lead training initiatives, monitor their effectiveness, and drive continuous improvements through data analysis and feedback.
Key responsibilities include coordinating employee training, managing budgets, and utilizing learning management systems.
The post holder will help our employees thrive and contribute to the organization's success.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a Learning and Development strategy aligned with organisational objectives.
Lead a team of L&D professionals and collaborate with senior leadership.
Oversee the performance and effectiveness of the Learning and Development Unit.
Build relationships with hiring managers to understand training needs.
Create and implement comprehensive learning programs for all employee levels.
Ensure training initiatives foster growth and support career progression.
Oversee leadership development programs.
Evaluate and improve training programs based on feedback and outcomes.
Maintain positive employee relations and ensure compliance with labour laws.
Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts.
Work with senior leadership to develop relevant learning programs.
Establish performance goals and monitor progress.
Implement recognition and reward systems.
Ensure compliance with diversity and inclusion regulations.
Manage the department budget effectively.
Foster an inclusive workplace culture.
Drive initiatives promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Skills and Qualifications
Level 7/8 Degree in training, development, or education-related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a training and development role in a large business.
Experience in developing and registering course materials with QQI.
Proven experience delivering QQI-accredited courses at Level 5 or higher.
