Job Overview


The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.




Key Responsibilities:



1. Carry out pre-construction condition surveys to ensure projects are started on a solid foundation.

2. Provide site supervision to guarantee seamless project execution.

3. Develop and implement effective programming and scheduling strategies to maximize resource efficiency.

4. Ensure key project milestones are achieved by coordinating with various stakeholders.

5. Collaborate with design teams to overcome any challenges that arise during construction.

6. Liaise with utility providers, councils, and other external parties to ensure work is carried out according to their standards.

7. Roster staff as needed to maintain an efficient workforce.

8. Work closely with the company's QS to identify cost-effective processes and explore alternative solutions.

9. Monitor site inductions, communicate method statements, and ensure safe systems of work (SSWP) are implemented.

10. Guarantee compliance with all relevant health, safety, and legislative requirements for site workers.

11. Coordinate the delivery and scheduling of materials.

12. Design and implement effective traffic management plans to minimize disruption.

13. Monitor and control subcontractor work performance and quality, reporting any issues as necessary.

14. Prepare reports as required in accordance with contractual agreements.

15. Deliver projects in accordance with established quality assurance procedures.

16. Ensure projects are completed within agreed scope, timeframe, and budget constraints.

17. Foster close working relationships with internal departments to drive project success.

18. Demonstrate proficiency in administrative and computer skills, including MS Project, MS Office, and engineering applications.

19. Display a strong awareness of health & safety regulations, environmental considerations, and traffic management principles.

20. possess in-depth knowledge of civil engineering, including site plant and equipment.

21. Apply advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills to drive project progress.

22. Bring extensive site experience to the role.

23. Effectively liaise with client design teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

24. Attend meetings with confidence and contribute valuable insights.

25. Apply skilled quality control techniques to drive project excellence.

26. Hold a Third Level Degree in Construction, with a Civil Engineering degree being advantageous.
