Job Summary:
A Mechanical Maintenance Specialist is required to work with site maintenance teams on the execution of a site maintenance program. The primary objective is to deliver compliant, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant and equipment. Key responsibilities include:
1. Collaborating with Site Maintenance Managers, Planners, and API Maintenance Lead to execute the site maintenance program.
2. Supporting the Reliability Engineer in executing Reliability Centered Maintenance initiatives.
3. Developing and leading a Root Cause Failure Analysis Program to reduce general equipment breakdowns.
4. Conducting real-time Root Cause Analysis with maintenance personnel.
5. Working with the Reliability Engineer and Planning team to establish and use reliability and work planning metrics/KPI's to monitor improvement and resource optimization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of a 4-year approved technical training program in mechanical or electrical repair and maintenance.
- 2 years of experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance.
- Or, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
