We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations in Ireland, you will be responsible for managing the cost of construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement cost management plans to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to identify areas for cost savings
* Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
* Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement cost-effective solutions
Requirements:
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field
* Minimum 5 years PQS experience in construction or a related industry
* Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
