The Role
Priority Construction are seeking a Project Manager with a civil engineering background and experience in landfill construction, site enabling works, road construction, road overlays and concrete works (including retaining structures).
Duties
* Day to day management of staff members on site.
* Ensure that all work is undertaken in line with best practice and specified HSEQ initiatives.
* Assist in compiling valuations, to be compiled monthly (or on agreed period ends) for the Contracts Directors
* Weekly programmes and minutes of weekly meetings to be circulated for each live job.
* Ensure site KPI’s are submitted daily by Site Manager.
* Ensure site timesheets submitted on a Monday morning by Site Managers.
* Keeping paperwork up to date e.g. method statements and safety file
* Any other reasonable duties required by company Directors.
Qualifications
* A relevant degree or equivalent in a Civil Engineering related field
* Setting out experience with GPS and Total Stations
* Minimum 3 years experience as a Civil Engineer or in a similar role
* Strong communication skills
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to learn and develop.
* Willingness to travel to sites nationwide
