We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Site Supervision Specialist in our team.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of relevant experience and be based out within South-West region of Ireland.
As part of our team, you will be seconded into a client office/site to work on capital projects in the water and wastewater sectors.
* You will have experience in administrating Contracts – Public Works & FIDIC.
* Awareness of Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations is also essential.
* A Chartered Engineer qualification is required.
The successful candidate will specialise in Electrical elements of the works, driving delivery of projects on site, ensuring health and safety, time for delivery, cost management, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Specialising in Electrical elements of the works.
2. Driving delivery of projects on site on behalf of Uisce Éireann with a particular focus on health & safety, the time for delivery, cost management and ensuring that the project is constructed to the specified quality standard.
3. Ensuring that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract documents (works requirements).
Implementing Uisce Éireann safety policies and standards on construction projects, reviewing and commenting on project/site specific HSQE documentation, monitoring compliance with contract health and safety requirements and contractor's Proposals.
Actively participating in Uisce Éireann HSQE team monthly inspections, confirming satisfactory close out of any issues identified.
