Security Architecture & Engineering Director, Dublin
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architecture & Engineering Director to lead our security strategy and operations in Dublin.
About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior leader to shape the future of security architecture and engineering at Colt. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust security strategy, leading a team of security engineers, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities
* Security Architecture Leadership: Develop and maintain the company's security architecture framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
* Engineering Oversight: Lead a team of skilled security engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across the organization.
* Threat Intelligence: Review the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities, incorporating threat intelligence into security strategies.
* Security Technology Roadmap: Establish and manage Security technology roadmap and drive the adoption of emerging security technologies and methodologies to support the organisation's transformation agenda.
* Collaboration and Communications: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business to align security initiatives with the overall technology and business strategy.
* Team Development and Management: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing cybersecurity operations team. Foster a culture of continuous learning, skill development, and collaboration within the team.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
* Proven experience in security architecture and engineering leadership roles.
* In-depth knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
* Industry certifications such as SABSA, CISSP or similar are highly desirable.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
