Engineering services include process development, cell management, tool design, and CNC programming.How You'll Create ImpactConduct feasibility studies to estimate product costs and analyze capital equipment, capacity, and capability requirements affecting make versus buy decisions.Establish process methods that meet performance and quality requirements.Establish preliminary bill of materials and routers.Develop a variety of applications, including machining, finishing, forging, casting, thermal processes, and molding.Negotiate target completion dates with appropriate personnel from other departments.Develop and maintain appropriate budgets.Serve as a mentor for new engineers.Communicate effectively with management and keep them informed.This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all of the essential functions for the purpose of the ADA.What Makes You Stand OutSkilled and knowledgeable in manufacturing and new product processing; must have effectively developed processing on a new development project; mastered at least two skill sets as defined by the Engineering Review Board.Working knowledge of control procedures, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Working knowledge of drafting standards and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.Ability to balance marketing, manufacturing, and design requirements to meet customer needs.Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating high technical expertise, tact, and discretion.Statistical Process Control skills; proficient in process development, CNC programming, Computer-Aided Design systems, and Unigraphics 3-D modeling software.Your BackgroundB.S. in mechanical, industrial engineering, or other engineering science plus 5 or more years of manufacturing process development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.Travel ExpectationsUp to 10% travel.EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability5149
