Barden are delighted to be working with a leading Irish organisation to identify an experienced and qualified accountant to join their City Centre Finance team. The organisation offers flexible hybrid working.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This broad role provides an excellent opportunity to develop one’s Accounting career in a growing Irish business, with a great working culture.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
Preparation and review of the Consolidated Financial Statements and Annual Report;
Ownership of month end accounting for assigned areas;
Business partnering with operational management to analyse budget vs performance;
Address external and internal audit queries as they arise;
Assist in the preparation of technical accounting memos;
Mentorship for junior team members;
On-going process improvement and ad-hoc projects as they arise.
ABOUT THE PERSON
Qualified accounting professional, ACA, ACCA or equivalent;
Big 4 or Top 10 practice trained, with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience in industry;
Excellent communication and report writing skills;
Self-starter who is motivated, innovative and ambitious;
Solid working knowledge of Excel.
