European Road Freight Coordinator
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled coordinator to manage groupage shipments across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and arrange road freight transport using both internal and external haulage networks.
* Liaise with carriers, agents, and clients to ensure timely collection and delivery of goods.
* Prepare and manage all relevant documentation (CMRs, manifests, customs paperwork where applicable).
* Track and monitor shipments, providing regular status updates to customers.
* Negotiate rates with hauliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and service.
* Ensure compliance with EU transport regulations and organizational procedures.
* Deal with transport incidents or delays, finding effective solutions and communicating with stakeholders.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, providing high levels of customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years experience in European road freight coordination or a similar logistics role.
* Knowledge of European transport regulations, routing, and documentation requirements.
* Strong understanding of groupage and full-load logistics across Europe.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple shipments, and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Customer-focused with a proactive and professional approach.
* Experience with freight management systems desirable.
